These were found easily at the dig site. The pieces on the left contain the pincher of a 10 M year old crab… then there is a shark tooth. Sharks don’t hang out here in Panama. The theory is that 10 M years ago, ancient sharks used this area near the isthmus as a “shark nursery” to keep the baby sharks protected from larger, open water predators…
